antarctica collection: journey to rock bottom

always my own way

journey to rock bottom was inspired after my husband and i were gifted a running adventure to antarctica. it was there i met the most amazing individuals who sought to run a marathon on this frigid and desolate continent. due to unusual weather we were stranded for days beyond our expectations. this created friendship bonds between the runners, bonds of trust that provided a safe space for them to share with me the "why" behind their passion/need to pursue such a crazy dream to run on the bottom of the this rock we call earth. it took me a little over 4 years to creatively bring to fruition their stories.
